Artist Statement I have always had a strong passion for design, with the desire to discover new
ways to enhance my creative abilities. My work consists mainly of Contemporary Expressionism with bold and colourful abstract and figurative images on canvas.


After many years of experimenting with fine art, I grew curious in exploring the new world of digital design. I wanted to learn a whole new method of design to see where it would take me, so I decided to study Graphic Design at Seneca College. I graduated with honours and successfully established a career in Marketing and Advertising. I am currently a Senior Graphic Designer and Art Director for a large retail corporation in Canada. Even though I am very proficient on the computer and have an extensive background in digital design, I find myself gravitating back towards painting on canvas. There is nothing more therapeutic than expressing my inner thoughts with colours and textures where there are no delete buttons. I often prefer the freedom of letting the picture take on a life of its own and experiment as it is being painted. I'm a great believer in following my instincts. Every painting I create expresses and embodies part of who I am.
