Artist Statement I have painted all of my life but made art my full-time profession upon retiring from the U. S. Coast Guard in l982. My paintings have been commissioned by the United States Coast Guard Museum, U. S.Coast Guard Alumni Association, the Foundation For Coast Guard History, General Dynamics, U. S. Navy, University of New Haven, and Three Rivers Community College. My art is part of countless private, corporate and military collections. My specialty is marine art and based on my years of sea duty, I can accurately capture the effects of wind and tide on the sea.
I also love to paint portraits, seascapes, landscapes, and animals.
